PKR-Bar

(Acrylic Keychain style Tag with Partitioned Slots for Stowaway Kit Supplies, Engraved Quick Reference Data written on backside of Bar)

This Partitioned Kit and Reference (PKR) Bar operates as a keychain, luggage tag, or pocket drop EDC tool. It comes in two custom compartmentalized designs that either carry an array of survival supplies or escape (SERE) supplies. While one side of the tag holds supplies, the reverse side serves as surface for written reference material that could aid in emergencies and survival scenarios.

The PKR-Bar comes fully equipped with your selected supply kit and 3 ranger bands which are used to secure the supplies in their compartments. The PKR-Bar also includes a paracord lanyard that can be tied through the key ring hole.

Models (each has a separate kit and reference info engraving)

Survival Kit w/ Emergency Communications Reference (orange): Kit includes a Razor (#9, straight single edge blade, sheathed), Firestarting Rod (Ferrocerium, strike rod to create flame sparks), and Thumb Tac Compass (waterproof, shock resistant, glass dome crimped to brass housing, operable in 0°-160°F ranges).

The Emergency Communications reference is engraved on reverse side of Survival Kit. Use it to hail assistance by referencing listed emergency radio frequencies and channels. Four helpful contact telephone numbers are also included in the event of an crisis.

Escape Kit w/ Code Reference (black): Kit includes a handcuff key (polymer, clip, peerless cuffs), shim saw (stainless steel micro saw and shimming tool), kevlar utility cord (friction saw, snare cord, tripwire), and chemlight stick (red, low light one time used glowrod).
The Morse and Tap Code reference is engraved on reverse side of Escape Kit. Use it to reinforce the recollection of common codes used for covert and rescue communication. Tap code was a common form of passing information audibly by POW detainees but while it is most often associated with tapping (knocking on a wall) it can also be delivered via flashlight or other means. The same is true for Morse code.

*Instructions: Your PKR Bar is shipped with standalone supplies from your kit which you will then insert into their home compartments. Stretch and slide on the ranger bands to secure the supplies in place. The key ring hole can be used to attach the bar to a set of keys or zipper; the hole also serves a anchor point for threading the included paracord through. The paracord adds multiple carry options, just tie it off then burn/melt loose ends for a better look.

*Note: This item is made of Acrylic, it can break, probably not even from dozens of drops, but use care when adding to a metal key ring as the lanyard hole is a weak point.
