PRIMITIVE PERIMETER SECURITY IS A MUST.
Rigged up an early alert trip wire system to trigger an audible alarm from one of those key fob devices. The trip line covers 100 feet footpath along our wood line. It was designed to snap a glow stick but we ran out of sticks.
We're also using @mrbeamsled remote LED motion lights around our camp. The one seen here is by our #outhouse .

These motion alarms are a crucial component of our perimeter security. Using MURS radio frequency and IR technology, each sensor detects motion, then sends a signal to the basecamp monitor. We have 4 zones, each with 2 sensors. When a sensor is triggered it plays an audible/visual alert which signifies which zone the detection occured in. This gives us time to react to incoming threats or put a pot of coffee on for a visiting friend. We exclusively use @guardlinesecurity for our early alert security system.

LET'S NOT FORGET PRACTICING DRILLS FOR RISKS AT HOME. THIS SAFE IS FOR OUR URBAN AREA HOME, NOT THE CABIN.
Nightfall under the shelter. Ran some drills retrieving my Beretta 92FS from the @the_gunbox and was able to open the safe, point center mass, and hit target in 5 seconds.
I've searched a long time for a way to keep my #firearms secure but readily accessible and finally found soemthing I'm satisfied with. Highly recommend.
Switched off the lights and used my #edcprepper flashlight bracelet to find my footing to the safe, and see the fingerprint sensor, and ran the drill that way in about 7 seconds. The light on the @superessestraps helps but the way the box is designed you don't need illumination to open it. The box accepts #RFID Tags (card, key fob), pin code, and fingerprint.
